Rainbow Lodge is a 22 hectare Nature Reserve in Central Portugal. Situated at the foothills of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park surrounded by stunning mountains.
Our intention is to create a peaceful space where people can spend time in nature, rest, relax and switch off from every day life.
We encourage our guests to reconnect to nature, themselves, and others during their stay. They can explore the land and access a variety of therapies and practices such as yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Workshops, courses, and events are available on-site throughout the year.

You can experience off grid living with electricity and hot water from our solar system and spring water directly from the mountains.
Life at Rainbow Lodge is down to earth, we relish the simplicity, seclusion and pure air.
Our accommodation supports your connection to nature. You can stay in a double room in our cosy straw bale house, in one of our bell tents nestled within the farmland.
The lodge provides a nurturing indoor space and patio for watching the incredible sunsets and dining al fresco. Sip local wine, try our homemade goats cheese, sit back with a book from our inspiring library, stargaze or simply ‘Be’.
Our facilities are shared; we have an indoor communal kitchen and living spaces. A indoor bathroom with hot shower, compost toilets and fresh water bucket showers. There’s a therapy space, outdoor workshop space and lots of spots on the land where you can take time for yourself….our meditation rocks and quartz circle are personal favourites.
