Marla
My name is Marla, I am from the UK. My professional background is in Health and Social Care industry, predominately Mental Health.
However, in 2018 I embarked upon my own personal journey to pursue a career change into Teaching Yoga. I completed my 200 YTTC in Varkala, India in Hatha and Ashtanga, Pranayama, Meditation techniques and Vedic Philosophy. My course also, incorporated basic Ayuverdic principles for which I implement into my teaching style according to individuals dosha constitution.
In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice whether you are a beginner or intermediate practitioner. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced which is strengthened by connecting pranic breathing techniques into the practice.
Michela
Namaste everyone. My name is Michela, I am an Italian certified yoga teacher. Three years ago, someone inspired to join them in a yoga class.
Being an active person with a busy mind, I joined the class which changed my life. I started my yoga journey, predominately with meditation to calm to my busy mind coupled with my own personal daily asana practice and quickly realised the many health and wellbeing benefits to my daily life and outlook.

In the last three years, I fell in love with yoga and explored many different styles. In 2018, I took my yoga journey to a deeper level by deciding to embrace my 200 YTTC training in Sydney at Sukha Mukha. The training included, Hatha and Vinyasa Flow styles, with medication and pranayama. Following this, I completed a 50 YTTC certificate for Yoga for Kids in Sydney.
Upon my self-discovery and connecting with my eternal inner child, coupled with my passion for promoting positive health and well-being benefits for children, I found teaching Yoga for Kids creates an opportunity for self-expression and helps me achieve eternal youth.

In my classes, I welcome both novices who need motivation and guidance in developing their asana practice to advanced practitioners with whom I can share my experiences to deepen our practices. In my class, I adopt an energising flow sequences, by playing with different asanas styles using your strength by holding poses and working on their connecting panic breathing to enrich the health benefits. My approach is holistic, includes mediation, pranayama, and Yogic philosophy in my classes, albeit on a one-to-one basis or in groups.

My goal is to empower and inspire participants by guiding you to feel connected, calm and centred at the class. Additionally, I have a personal interest in Nutrition and Detox diets based on Ayurvedic principles. I strongly believe combining the principles mentioned above and yoga people can reach their best health potential. It is important to eat well, as it is to move your body, have healthy thoughts and minimised stress. I love to play in the kitchen with different organic fresh food and recipes, creating healthy tasty meals based on individuals dosha constitutions.
